PSBSC have been raising money to replace our ageing safety boat engine.  In addition to various fund raising events that we have held over the last couple of years we have also approached numerous grant awarding agencies and written to a wide variety of businesses seeking sponsorship.

We are delighted to announce that Scottish Sea Farms have come up trumps.  Not only have they offered help but were so impressed by the Club that they have offered to purchase and fit a new engine for us!   This has the added bonus of allowing us to divert funds already raised  into other projects. Some of the factors that encouraged them to offer help, were our engagement with the local and wider community, the significant expansion of our training programmes, the success of Club nights and the continued development of our youth activities.   All of this has seen a significant rise in membership numbers.
