Racing Calendar

Plockton Local Boat races will be re-scheduled for the first available Friday or Saturday at the usual times. In the event of two or more races needing re-scheduling the additional races will be scheduled on Wednesday 18.30.

Centre Board and Junior Centre Board races will not be re-run or re-scheduled in the event of cancellation

New starting procedure for all boats for 2011

With immediate effect, the ISAF starting procedure will be used for all races as follows:

Warning Signal:         5 minutes before start signal  -  class flag up  -  1 sounds

Prep Signal 1:             4 minutes before start signal  -  Flag 'P' up  -  1 sound

Prep Signal 2:             1 minute before start signal  -  Flag 'P' down  -  1 sound

Start signal:                 At start  -  Class flag down  -  1 sound

During Regatta, the centre board 5 minute signal will act as a 10 minute signal for local boats.  There will not be a 10 minute signal for centre boards.
